Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.  Must meet initial licensure requirements in consultation with a Special Education advisor and the Office of Teacher Education.  Must meet admission requirements for irregular route programs.

Specialty Area Core21
SPED 470 (6 s.h.), traditional student teaching, is required of students who are non-licensed and not currently lateral entry; students must be admitted to Student Teaching according to the schedule and guidelines available through the Teacher Education Office. SPED 470 (3 s.h.) is required of lateral entry students.  SPED  410  And  SPED  460  And  SPED  465  And  SPED  515  And  SPED  518  Or  SPED  418  And  SPED  470
