Program Requirements Credits
Total Credit Hours 36.0
Undergraduate degree from accredited institution. Minimum GPA of 2.7 on 4.0 scale or 3.0 in last 60 credits. Scores on both the Verbal and Subject sections of the GRE taken within last five years. Two letters of recommendation from professors or others qualified to evaluate potential for success in program. Maximum of 12 graduate credits earned as non-degree seeking student can be applied to program. Applicants are also required to have competed two years of foreign language. This requirement may be met by proficiency examination or by completing two years of foreign language study at Fayetteville State University. For marginal applicants, a writing sample of ten to thirteen pages to accompany the application and an interview might be required. Applicants who have deficiencies in English may be required to complete additional courses in English.
